Features and Functionality
The device can be used for pipe sections with a diameter range up to 400 mm.
The device consists of a prism with a spring-loaded bar that holds two tempered marking rollers.
The marking rollers are spaced 100 mm apart and feature spikes. They can be spaced at greater intervals upon request.
The specimen is inserted into the prism, rotated and the bar with the marking rollers is pressed on from below or from the side, depending on the diameter. Depending on the contact pressure, a marking line of varying thickness is created around the entire circumference.
A stop attached to the side of the prism facilitates handling.
The circulating air oven is used to condition specimens according to the dimensional change of pipes and also as a drying oven (e.g. for determining the degree of crosslinking, water absorption, etc.).
