The chlorine testing device is used for pressure testing of pipes or pipe components made of thermoplastic materials under elevated pressure and temperature. The test specimens are evaluated for their compatibility with chlorinated and/or preheated water. Test cycles can last several months. Up to four pressure-controlled test lines can be used simultaneously. The concentrated chlorine dioxide solution is generated within the device and supplied to the test circuit via dosing pumps. The water conductivity in the central test circuit is automatically regulated. The test lines are installed in a test oven to maintain the required temperature, and vapors and gases generated in the device are extracted through a central exhaust system.
