Features and Functionality

The 1268 unpressurised temperature cycle tester is used to flush drainage systems consisting of fittings and pipes alternately with hot and cold water without pressure.

The device consists of the supply unit with hot and cold water tank installed on the floor and the flow control and circulation pipes mounted on top of the mounting frame. A touchscreen is installed in the supply unit as the operating interface.

Heating elements are installed in the hot water tank and the cold tank is cooled via a plate heat exchanger.

The test medium is constantly circulated via the circulation lines. Depending on the test mode, the cold or hot water valve opens intermittently and the test medium flows through the test set-up at the specified flow rate for the specified time. At the end of the test set-up, the water is returned to the respective tank.

The built-in touchscreen can be used to enter the test parameters, start the test and monitor the test procedure. An optional connection to IPTDatalogging is possible.

Periphery and Complementary

  • Tests on finished products

The main field of application for the 1765 series cooling units is to maintain the water temperature in our test tanks at 20°C.
